AN OPEN LETTER OF AFFIRMATION
FROM THE CHURCHES IN SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES

To all the churches and saints in the Lord’s recovery:
We, the undersigned brothers who bear responsibility among the churches in Southern Philippines, are issuing this open letter to affirm the letters sent by the church in Malabon on May 25, 2010 and by the co-workers in Northern Philippines on May 26, 2010, calling for the quarantine of sister Charing Garcia and those who disseminate her different teachings and spread her divisive work.
It is our desire to follow the Spirit by following the churches, to follow the Lamb by following the footsteps of the flock. We believe that these letters of warning were the actions of the Head, through the Body, for the protection of the churches.
We feel grieved at the damage to the Body of Christ the divisive ones have caused, and recognize the need for quarantine in order to safeguard the saints and churches from further damage. We stand with the churches in upholding the truth as revealed in the Holy Scriptures concerning the oneness of the Body of Christ and the scriptural way to deal with divisive ones based on Romans 16:17 and Titus 3:10.
May the Lord continue to purify and strengthen His recovery.
