A LETTER OF FELLOWSHIP AND RESPONSE
Because of the inaccurate presentation of facts and recollection of events by the dissenting sister, some saints were misled to believe that the problems related to the dissonant sister’s different teachings and divisive practices are just a figment of creative minds because she claimed that she could not have possibly become divisive in only two months since Brother Liu returned to Taiwan. Indeed, she has issued the challenge to the co-workers and elders to substantiate how she could have become an overnight rebel. The saints should not be confused with such shenanigans because the problems related to the dissenting sister, having persisted over the last decade, had been the object of much fellowship over the years.
As early as October, 2008, the sister had already stirred up unnecessary controversies publicly. In response to her different teachings and unbecoming actions as a sister and co-worker then, elders from the church in Manila and Quezon City wrote a letter to her, the elders of her local church, and the leading brothers in the work, as a readers’ response to various articles and letters published by her in the New Man, which the sister had misused to propound her dissenting views and teachings, air her grievances, and put public pressure on the leading brothers for them to do what she wanted. We are publishing this letter, replete with many spiritual lessons for us to learn, in its entirety, so that the saints may understand the long and torturous process and time frame that led to the sister’s quarantine, which was a result of her continuous refusal to heed the fellowship of the Body.
